rack and pinion

my rack and pinion has be making some noise lately when hitting big bumps ( kinda a clunk noise)

I believe its the rack because it has a little play,, and every thing up front is new, my question is can i rebuild it ?? it seems that the gears in it are fine there no side to side play that i can tell.

I try ed looking for a rebuild kit on rock auto with no luck and auto zone had no clue..

Kartracer rebuilds them, Eurotiva I believe did his own but I think he said a lathe
was used..Kart is really reasonable for price and highly recommended.
