  • Tach cluster Q

I got a tach cluster from the junkyard. I think it was a from a 93. The fuel gauge doesn't work and the speedo reads about 10% slow. Is there a difference in speedo gears between the 2 clusters.

No diffrence between the two as far as I know. I have one in mine and it is right on. I didn't change anything on mine.

Problem with JY parts is you have no assurance everything works as it should. Maybe (I wanna use those words carefully) the parts from your original dash will retrofit into a tach cluster panel. One nice thing about the tach cluster is the odometer feature. If you reset it everytime you fill up you'll at least know to refuel when it reads 300 miles.

The speedo gear in the transmission is not changeable like on pickup trucks and the like which have rear axle, transmission and wheel/tire options. Festys didn't.
