Be stupid like me... grab the highest number of the "recommended" fluid. Mercon V, in this case. It's stupid expensive, but I don't change trans fluid anyway once it's in.Comment

Every tech I've talked to says 5 replaces 4. Hadn't actually tried it in the Festiva yet, but similar year trucks like it, that I've seen.Comment

Blow out the inside of the trans cooler if the radiator is not new,
Flush it with brake clean and air until it comes out clean .Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig
