These stories are grand. Explains why most people/sheep run out (and with bank loans), to buy beautiful new (and even more intricate) cars and why we get our's (their old ones) so cheap.
    Effort, work, thought? What's that?

      what i would do

replace distributer/ fuel pump/fuel filter, plug wires/cap/rotor/plugs. if u r car is EFI, run some seafoam,in gas,if carb, spray a can of carb cleaner, thru it. it sounds like the fuel system. im not telling u,to do anything. im telling u,what i would do. u gotta start somewhere.

^^this guy likes to try and get people to replace parts before diagnosing, please ignore him

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

          3X what Damkid said!
Some people got more money than sense.
If you replace enough parts you'll fix it, eventually.
Diagnose the issue first and eliminate replacing perfectly good parts for no reason, and spending money needlessly.
