When you can't get what you want it is a pain, but I like the options
you can do more for any reason! we are lucky!

You can tell at a glance by opening the box and looking at the inner CV. I ended up
with the aspire left axle and the festy right axle because of the long travel suspension
and all I had to do to make that possible.

I need the festy beacuse my chassis is tweaded. And the extra .250" is killing me with the aspire length. I just got back from Advance & they ordered from another manufacter. Hopefully this one is the shorter axle.

Try a local axle specialist. I got mine from a small shop here in Ottawa at the lowest price. That's after returning one from an Internet supplier who sent the wrong axle. Computerization saves time and money when done right, otherwise it can be a pain.

I am also tryin the new master pro axle's from O'Reilly auto parts. They come with abs rings but seem to fit and perform well so far.

I suspect a few people have been known to lazily turn in Aspire axles as cores when they buy a Festy axle. No doubt the rebuilders then presume that's what they've got and send it right back out.

    Axle question

Twice now Advance Auto Parts has given me a Aspire L/H Axle. I'm ordering a L/H Festy and they give me an Axle thats 24 1/8" ? :angry4:. I'm just wondering if the manufactor is trying to use both pn's for both cars.
Anyone have a known good source for the Festy 23 7/8's Axle?
This is getting old, especially when you pull the axle & have to put the OLD ONE back in.Twice-drool
Working...
