brake line to caliper leak

I just installed new caliper on my 92 festy and when I hook up brake line to it ,it leaks around new brass washers that come with new caliper.I put washer on each side of fitting going into caliper.Tried lightly tightening then snugged up tighter and still no difference.Is there a special way to tighten these fittings so they dont leak?Any help apprec. :x

I always have problems with them leaking also so I normally use the old ones. Just try tightening the bolts down a little more. The washers have to squish in order to work properly.

should be copper washers

are they a tight fit around the bolt???

it is possible that you might have bad washers
