    Carb Trouble 88 festiva

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently sent my carb back to National Caburetors from whom I had
purchased it from. They bench tested it and found problems with it.
They completely rebuilt it and I received it back a few days ago. I put
the carburetor back on the car and fired it up. I took it out for a test
drive and the car began to jump and go, jump and go. Kind of like an
inexperienced person operating a standard transmission for the first time.

What I need is a diagram of the back of the carb that shows where the
vaccum lines hook-up. I believe that there are about 5 or 6 lines that
connect to the back of the carb, (I may have mixed up the lines somehow.)
Also where they originate. If no one has a diagram I live in Greensboro, NC
and would be willing to meet with someone who has a carbed 88-89 Festiva
that I can take a look at the vaccum lines on their carburetor.

Thanks for the help in advance

Did you read it TODAY? It's evolving, (or degenerating)...

Use the link again...or look a couple of slots down on this very forum.
