  • oil every where

hi every one I just bought a 1990 festiva it looked good before the drive home. When I get home I pop the hood again too find oil every where all around valve cover all over air box and hood over timing cover the car has 212500 miles on it. The car don't smoke, knock,or even rattle so my thing is what should I replace to stop the oil leak? LEAKS ABOUT 1qt EVERY WEEK DEPENDING ON HOW I DRIVE IT BUT THEN AGAIN IT IS CHEAPER TO PUT 1qt OF OIL IN THAN $103.00 WORTH OF GAS IN MY TRUCK EVERY 10 DAYS!!!!!

Probably the front crank seal. The seal could be bad or the crank could have a bad spot on it. When you change it look at the crank carefully. If it has a worn spot or groove then they sell a repair sleeve for it.
