    Ok guys i got a automatic festy on the counsil to the top right theres a rectangular hole what is this ??? Its about quarter inch long

      Its to the passanger side of the shifter lever i got two automatics neither one has anything in this odd ball square

        It could possibly be for the alignment pin to hold the slider in position when installing the shift quadrant.

          Its the no battery power shifter unlock . For towing or easy moving ,stick a small screw driver in and it unlocks the shifter without the key on .
          New build on the way .

            There's supposed to be a sliding piece. Probably broke off.

              Even with the slider there, it doesn't really have enough leverage to move the shift lock-out out of place...

                Ok is it suppost to be a open hole ? Or is there a clip that covers the mystry shifter lock delie doodad ? Lmao :p

                  There's supposed to be a chinsy plastic slider that breaks off the first time you attempt to use it to override the shift lock mechanism. It's better without it because you can stick a screwdriver down there and pry now.

                    I was about to take a picture of mine but it's broken and gone too! My girl's car has one, I'll snap it when we get home.
