While changing my oil this morning I saw my dynamic damper had broken loose. It is now a doughnut hanging on the drive shaft. Any suggestions on how to resolve?

How important is the damper? I thought about taking the sawzall to it but decided to seek advice first.Comment

not required if the axle is straight and in good shape.Trees aren't kind to me...
