  • Fuel Pump Relay

I have a 93 festiva that I'm have a problem getting started. It seems the fuel pump doesn't run....I've replace the fuel pump(and tested it)... and checked the inertia switch to make sure its good. I've also cleaned the fusible links. About the only other thing I can think of is the Fuel pump relay...but I can find it in the car to replace or test it. Does any one know where I can locate it??????

1st off make sure that all the intake tubes are connected as well as the air box electrical connection. All this will make it not start.

Re-check your fusible links on the drivers side shock tower. In my newest festiva they were corroded and it would crank but not fire. I think it was the one furthest away from the fender that was my problem. Make sure you are getting power thru all of them.

Not getting power to the fusible link you mentioned is the problem. I tested conductivity on each of them and the one marked egi did not work....but all wires connect to the fusible link look fine. That's why I thought it might be the relay.
