No start but fast crank

1995 aspire, 1.3L with a 5-spd. fuel pump good, inertia switch down, fuel pump relay good, ignition good. Any ideas anyone? does anyone know how to check for dtc by jumping connections on the data link connector? any ideas would be great.

Is it cranking faster than normal? If so check your timing belt. Loosen the 2 top screws on the cover and pull it back a bit. See if the belt is off or broke.

If the belt is broke or off some of the valves will stay open and it will not build compression as it should and will crank faster.

the timing belt is good, just checked when i got home today
