It's a 92 sport w/200k i think this little car just doesn't like where i take it. so the new problem is, you can take it for a ride, get some ice cream or what ever, get back in the car, crank it and it will not start so i know your not suposed to floor a efi engine like you would a carb car, but i held it to the floor, cranked it over and heck it spit and sputtered some Black smoke and started, well kinda, as it started to fire up i let off the gas and let it idle and it cleaned up, so home we went. It has done it twice today so it's time to let it sit till we figure this out. So folks what are your thoughts. I havn't done anything yet and the exhaust is sooty black, oh the plugs do look clean.

When you hold it to the floor while cranking it stops fireing the injectors, its known as "clear flood mode".

Not quite shutting off injectors but same idea, you have way too much fuel
in the intake if this procedure starts the car. Where is the fuel coming from after
      you shut the car off??

Movin, that is the question, where is the fuel coming from. Once the car is running it runs like a champ, idles fine, so where is the extra fuel coming from, what has changed. I still get 38/40 mpg.

Check for injector or pressure regulator leaks.
Make sure your PCV system is working, meaning if its
not working you could be boiling built up fuel out of the oil.
Coolant or air temp sensors reporting -30F and the
computer says it isn't going to fire unless we dump
a bunch of fuel in there!

Could be, could be corrosion adding resistance, they are two wire.
