Bought a set of electric mirrors for my festiva today, with a switch, on ebay. Probably from a member here. Anyone know of an article at this site or have experience with installation? Haven't got mirrors yet, may be a piece of cake just wondering is anyone has done this and has some advise.

That can make a big difference!
Installation is really straightforward. The hardest part is getting the wiring run through the door, but even that's pretty easy and takes only a few minutes to do. I found this easiest with the windows rolled up - but don't get the wiring caught in the window mechanism!

With all the other upgrades Ive done, Tach, Dome light, rear window defrost, etc. All the wiring was already in place just lacking the equipment. Assumed power mirror wires were already in place??? Built into the wiring harness.sigpic

Easy way to check is to look for a wire from the body to the door in the doorjamb towards the bottom. If you don't see it, then you will have to put the wiring in yourself.
