This is one of the few times an EZ out will actually work, honestly.

Another option is to bond a nut to the head using JB weld. This method allows you to reuse the screw, doesn't require hitting/chiseling/damaging anything, and it only takes a few hours for the JB to dry enough to use it (24 if you follow the directions, I've had good results with a little extra hardener and about 4 hours in a closed car parked in the sun.)
