  • Axle Seal Part Numbers

Hi, I'm pretty new on here and I really enjoy reading the forums daily!! I have an 89 Festiva L that I have been working on for about a year. My latest project will be the CV axles and seals. There has been lots of discussion about the output seals for the drive axles. I've done lots of research and there are for sure 2 different part numbers for the axle seal. This is for the manual transmission: Timken # 223543 LH drivers side

Timken # 2007N RH passenger side

You guys can check this out, since most stores sell you the same part # for both sides. If this has been listed before, then my apologies!! Maybe it will help with leaks. I don't know what the differences are (maybe none), but definitely 2 part numbers. Other brands may also use these numbers!!
Thanks for the excellent information on this forum!!

    Welcome to the site!!

I had to return the 2007n and put the 223543 in both sides.

They only had one of a 759013 but it looked like it would have
worked for both sides as well.

The 2007n may fit my 89 but i have not tried it yet.
