While trying to loosen up the adjustment for my clutch cable i broke it and was wondering if im using a festy transmission do i need to pull it from a festy or can it come off of an aspire? Thanks

I think the cable is still in my garage. I'll check tomorrow and let you know. For a battery hold down, I use a universal one sold my most auto part stores.You gonna race that thing?

I did a write-up complete with pictures of compatibility of Rio cables with Festy about a year and half ago. Rio cable is slightly longer but readily adapts. Also much easier to scavenge from a donor car (easier access to the pedals and under the dash).

I bought a clutch cable for a 96 aspire from parts geek. The 38.5inch cable was what they listed, but I had to send it back. It looks like about 60inches. Can anyone recommend a source? My 1990 Festiva doesn't give me this much trouble, except parts are getting hard to find.1990 Festiva L
