  • Need Engine Oil Dipstick, or length

Just acquired my first Festiva ('89 FI) as a salvage while parts diving for another project car. Got it running, even passed inspection. Catch is, it has no oil dipstick - I just added oil according to fluid capacity when I fired it up.

I'll likely pick up a universal oil dipstick from the parts store, but I haven't been able to find what length I need to adjust it to. Can anyone tell me the length of the factory dipstick, or better still, direct me to one for sale?

    Thanks.

It's 14 1/2" from the top of the dipstick tube down to the "full" line on the dipstick on my 91.

At a junkyard you can use dipsticks from Ford Festiva, Ford Aspire, Mazda 323.
All Mazda B3 and B6 enines are pretty much the same.
