If it turns over but wont start, could be a number of things...

          1. Fuel is out
          2. Spark plugs aren't firing, bad distributor
          3. Timing belt could be damaged (what happened to us )

That's what I thought of right off the top of my head. Let us know if you find out what it is. and Gods speed

IF, fuel getting to 'top' (as hubby says) sparks are firing... I wouldn't stress it & wait until Madness, but it is my daily drive & motherly duties to get done.

So it turns, but won't fire. electrical controls your starter. so battery is fine. you say sparks are firing, and fuel is getting there. My best guess, with my push/bang/blow experience, you are getting the push, and the bang......but maybe not the blow? check compression and exhaust.

Ooooooor...you just don't have a strong enough battery. Try jumping it before jumping to conclusions. A known good battery swapped in place is even better, you lose a lot of amps through jumper cables. After that check fuel since its easiest imo, pull the filter hose and make sure there's gas comming out while cranking...don't get that stuff in your eyes though!
