engine 5th gear malfunction

this morning driving to work. in 5th gear my engine jumped a little and check engine light came on for a second. It did this 5 times but not back to back it had about 3 minutes in between.
It has never done this before. just yestderday i cleaned the IACV, maybe it had some thing to do with it.

I would bet money that it had nothing to do with 5th gear

it was just wierd and 3 miles from work it quit so maybe it was a festiva hick-up

When you cleaned it you may have knocked a chunk of some buildup loose that stopped things up downstream for a bit.
