Front Right rattle noise

unfortunately george, I am missing a gasket between the engine and tranny, and a couple screws in that same general area. So I leak. I'm currently negotiating for either a b6 or a 5 speed, so I'd rather just wait until I get that to do something of that magnitude. Power washing would be quite futile. plus, the dirt/oil is a rust inhibitor

There's no gasket between engine and trans. It must be the rear main.
