  • Rear Axle Nut

I've bought O'reilly's Auto part number 615-103.1 for Passenger side rear & was making sure this is the correct part number. The spindle is not left hand threaded like some Festiva's are. Thanks

If the passenger side is not reverse thread then the part number for the nut will be the same as the part number for the nut on the driver side.

Perhaps driver-side spindles will fit on the passenger side! Once you've adapted to castle nuts and a cotter pin it really doesn't matter anyway; unless you're a die-hard MoPar nut or gas fitter.

please explain why ? I have always thought when the bearing locks up the reverse thread will stop the nut from spinning off .
New build on the way .

yes...but if it is a castle nut and cotter pin..it can not spin like the regular stake nut could.
