  • No start on BP swap

Just finishing a BP swap and can't get it to start.

    Info:
Manual festiva, carbed, swapped to BP manual with ECU from a manual

    Tested:
    - power to fuel pump relay
    - power at fuel pump, fuel in lines.
    - injectors fire (removed distributor and spun to hear them).
    - swapped ignitor and distributor with one from a working BP swap.
    - power to ignitor.
    - ground on distributor (cam sensor)
    - distributor plug power as follows: 5V, 5V, 12V, Ground (starting from the new wire I had to install to the ground).
    - New wire installed on distributor goes to (looking at the back of larger ECU plug with clip at the top) 4rth from the right, top row.
    - Power to main relay
    - All fuses and fusible links.

All these things are ok, but it still won't start. Turns over just fine though. Took out a spark plug and grounded it to the frame and didn't see a spark but I was also trying to see it while standing half out the door, a foot on the clutch and a hand on the key (might have missed it if it's not very visible). Any ideas as to why it won't start?

oh, it's also using an efi engine and body harness. The dash and cluster aren't installed but that shouldn't do anything right because all the relays and everything else are plugged in.

Well, didn't think I would figure it out so fast, but for anyone who ever runs into this problem where it seems like you've diagnosed everything, I replaced that little 3 wire power module that bolts onto the metal bracket that the ignitor also bolts onto, and voila, vroom.
