Just finishing a BP swap and can't get it to start.
Info:
Manual festiva, carbed, swapped to BP manual with ECU from a manual
Tested:
- power to fuel pump relay
- power at fuel pump, fuel in lines.
- injectors fire (removed distributor and spun to hear them).
- swapped ignitor and distributor with one from a working BP swap.
- power to ignitor.
- ground on distributor (cam sensor)
- distributor plug power as follows: 5V, 5V, 12V, Ground (starting from the new wire I had to install to the ground).
- New wire installed on distributor goes to (looking at the back of larger ECU plug with clip at the top) 4rth from the right, top row.
- Power to main relay
- All fuses and fusible links.
All these things are ok, but it still won't start. Turns over just fine though. Took out a spark plug and grounded it to the frame and didn't see a spark but I was also trying to see it while standing half out the door, a foot on the clutch and a hand on the key (might have missed it if it's not very visible). Any ideas as to why it won't start?
