Inner tie rod

Is the inner tie rod the same for all models of Festiva? I bought a set off ebay with control arms, inner/outer tie rods but the threads on the inners don't match up with the rack, the new outers fit the old inners. All the listings for inner tie rod on ebay either say all models or 90-93. Thanks!

i'd send them back and get them from autozone their parts come with a warranty and the inners are 24bucks a piece

Some inner tie rods had course threads on the rack side and some fine threads. The early models usually had the course threads.

Really? The threads on my 88 were fine. Anyway, if it's not one it's the other. Just a minor set back- happened to me too. CarQuest had it available for me, 1 day out. Good luck
