  • Windshield washer nozzle

I broke the hood mounted washer nozzle when I took it off to paint. NAPA wants $18 for a new one. Anyone have a better part? The 300 choices from amazon don't look like many will fit.

I suspect that many Mazdas will use the same unit. At some point a few years ago I think I got a Ford pickup nozzle to work in place of a Festy nozzle.

Grab a set off a GM car, and get the hoses, too.

They attach to the wiper arm, and allow you to fill the hole in the hood. They also perform much better than the OE units.

I popped some off a 323 one time. Worked great. Same thing.

I've thought of this mod before, but never tried it. Sounds like it would be great.

You can get the silly universal ones with an LED on ebay for $5 with free shipping. Just cut the wires. I am assuming most people over age eight would think putting a light on washer nozzle is stupid. Course if you want yours lit up, more power to you.

Why somebody doesnt get a clue and make these out of brass so they last the life of five cars is beyond me. Couldnt cost all that much more to manufacture, but you know they'd want $50 for them.

Its one of the things ill be doing to mine when I rebuild it. They'll still work if theres thick mud all over the hood.

So are there any new replacement washer nozzles out there? My hood has this super tiny hole for the nozzle. I bought a standard replacement nozzle, but it doesn't work. Way too big.
