  • Replaced Front End

A few weeks ago I remember someone posting a thread concernign replacing front end parts and not having enough toe adjustment after doing so. I cannot seem to find the thread, can anyone point me to it? Was it resolved?

I just did rack, innner & outer tre's, lower control arms and axle shafts and it appears that I am not going to have enough toe adjustment for my alignmment Monday, currently outer tre's are screwed almost all the way in and it is still toed in.. Not an alingment guy by any means but I am afraid Rock Auto might have shipped me the wrong parts some how..

I know escrot tie rod ends are longer than festy and aspire ones. That would be a place to start. measure your ends and see if they are different.

Yes, hold the new part up to the old to make sure they are the same before installing, or after if you forget.
