    i just picked up a 91 mercury capri xr2 and it has a problem when driving on the high way at 55 -65 it feels like it running out of gas and it slows down but when u give it gas and the boost kicks in it runs fine just to do it all over again anybody have a idea thanks

    My friend just had a problem like this, turned out to be a bad VAF. But I'd check the ignition system & all the vacuum lines/intake first

      Mine was doing this and it was a loose ground at the engine, there is a bracket that grounds to the head, make sure the bracket is secure and that the ground wires are in good condition. The bracket is just above and in front of the water outlet on the head.
