Yeah, I don't think I've seen them anywhere that cheap, they are $6.89 even at rock auto. But to answer your original question, yes, they share the same part number. So do the '88-'92 MX6/626. I've used a couple of ones from an MX6 as replacements for dead lifters on a B3 once. The single cam proteges from '90-'94 are a direct replacement as well.No festiva for me ATM...

The Orange o ring on the outside of the lifter? I've never seen them separate listed..... You probably could match them up if you want.But my guess is they have to be Viton material.... But honestly Larry for $7.00 @ Rock Auto the DNJ piece is your best deal. I'm sure you know but the HLA is a super critical part of the valve train. You can damage the valve tip,rocker or cam lobe if they are not staying pumped up. I change main/cam & Distributor seals on these old Mazda's all the time because they are literally dry'd out. The internal orings in our HLA's are no different. 20 year old rubber o rings inside that hot engine? You feel me? The engine runs so much smoother at idle with new lifters.Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-

It was low on oil.... I spent 1.5 hours getting used HLA's, then another 1.5 hours running all over town trying to find o-rings. Cleaned and prepped HLA's, took the VC off and installed them, pulled the plugs and cleaned, checked them and regapped them. Buttoned everything up and checked the dipstick. No oil on dipstick. Added a ~quart. Touching bottom, finished putting the rest of the 5 qt jug in which was about 1/2-3/4 qt, perfect.
None of the old HLA's were collapsed, but they do seem to be carboned up some as they don't collapse as far and as smoothly as the ones I cleaned up.
It was a bonehead deal on my part not checking the oil in the first place. I had just changed it recently so it wasn't on my mind as being a problem. It doesn't leak it, and it doesn't appear to burn it, I have no idea where it's going.1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car

Sorry to hear that,sounds like a perfect candidate for a good seafoam treatment. It'll free up those HLA's and clean the gunk out of the rings.Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-
