  • Swapping fuel lines for a B6 swap.

    hi guys,

I'm looking to swap over to a MAZDA 323 PROTEGE B6 engine into my 1991 Festiva and was curious to know, being that this motor is a EFI motor and my first swap (in fact my first major anything on my car), i was wondering about the original fuel lines in the car and would they starve this motor of fuel in heavy acceleration.

My question is basically, if the original lines would starve this motor, what would be an ideal swap for the fuel lines to keep the motor happy?

Should i go with the Mazda 323 lines that would suit this motor or something a little more robust say something like a set of BP lines?

Not at all necessary. I've never heard of a single Festiva owner starve their fuel lines out at all, and that includes those running 300+HP. Not something to be concerned with at all. Fuel pump is fine as well.
