Dist. cap gasket & spacer?

Does anyone know where I can find the thin gasket that goes between the distributor cap and the spacer? Have looked everywhere I know of so I need a wider knowlege base. Any help would be much appreiated. [slotmachine0143@att.net] -dragcar-

Does Rockauto carry it? I'm not quite sure what the proper name for the part is, but they probably have it if it's a common item to replace. If it isn't, your best bet is probably finding another one in a junkyard!

They're supposed to come with a new dizzy cap. Never seen one packaged individually. I used a light spot of rtv.

Wasn't aware of any "spacer". I don't think mine even have a gasket.

Yeah I just put on a new dist cap and mine didn't have one either.

I've seen one made from a sheet of paper gasket material. Trace and cut. Cutting the circle out of the inside can be a bit tricky. Patience and an exacto knife will get the job done.
