Driving at Mach speeds (70+mph) a month ago my top passenger side trim piece for the front windshield came unclipped and was waving around...driving it a couple days later at mach speeds again it just ripped right off. I'm completely missing a couple of these clips. I don't fully understand how they work either. I purchased a new trim piece at the yard and can't figure out how it stays on. Has anyone else had issues with these coming off...do you have other solutions for keeping them secure besides the stock clips?

Would any one happen to have some of these clips available? I'm having a hard time trying to find them.

I broke the majority of them when I replaced my dad's windshield. Instead of putting the trim back on, I just trimmed the windshield out with the same tube of "Windo-Weld" sealant that I installed it with.
I didnt' do the greatest job of it, but it was sprinkly that day and I didn't want to get caught having to put up a tarp building just to finish the windshield.
I can grab a pic of it if you want in the AM. might even be able to get something that will represent it decently now if you want.Last edited by Christ; 11-30-2012, 07:07 PM.

Or your local glass/windshield installer guy might give you a few.
