Aspire transmission problems.

I am buying an aspire that won't go into fourth, fifth or reverse. Most likely internal transmission, but I don't like the fact that it has no reverse. Could it be a shifter bushing issue? Thanks.

If the shifter is really loose it may conceivably be a bushing issue when it comes to shifting. Get under the car and find out because I'm thinking something else might be broken. Hopefully you didn't pay serious money for this car.

Picking it up on Saturday and $150. Lol I'm no fool when it come to buying cars I can tell a good deal and bad deal apart.

Keep us posted, I may have 5 speed parts if you need them. Third gear is out of this tranny.

nitrofarm has a trans if I need one, im thinking it may just be the linkage/ bushings.. reverse missing doesn't make sense.
