    10mm!

Just like everything else on the car you will need a 10mm and a ratchet. I think you might need a screw driver also, it's a 10 minute fix if that.

You'll need to remove the corner light and inner fender splash shield. Then start unbolting the fender. Don't forget the one bolt at the bottom near where the door and fender meet.

There are six 10mm bolts if I remember right. 3 on top, 1 behind the marker light, 1 below the door, and the other is behind the door like Matt described. There are 5 Philip screws also. 2 for the marker light, 1 for the bumper under the front of the fender, and 2 for the inner splash shield where it connect to the back of the fender.

Not mudflaps, if that's what you're thinking. They protect the engine, underside of the fenders, etc. from water/mud.

Kinda of a one-piece plastic shell that goes around under the fender, around the wheel.

sorry I know  I made it sound like a monster truck with mud flaps or something, yeah, I mean those splash guard thingy's They can be a pain to mess with and get all bent up from weathering.

I have had my fenders on and off many times, just hate messing with those splash guards on the inner wheel wells of the front.

one on the very bottom of fender 10mm
                        3 under the hood 10mm
one behind the front turn signal light next to head light 10mm
one you remove by opening door and using extension 10 mm
misc screws on splash guard or wheel well.

i have taken off several in junkyards and only takes me 15 minutes at the most.

There is a screw attatching it to the bumper if I recall, get you unscrew it?
And then work it off the splash guard.
