Hatch support cylinder

I got some new hatch support cylinders for my 2 Festys from Advance Auto Parts. They do not come any additional hardware. Anybody done this on their Festy who can tell me how to attach the cylinder ends to the Festy mounting brackets?

I've never had any luck finding Festy-compatible cylinders. Maybe you want to post a few pictures and/or keep us abreast of how you ultimately accomplish all this.
