  • Ignition Switch sources

Haven't seen this discussed in a while but when tapping and wiggling both
ends of the ignition switch doesn't always work, where are we getting
new ones?? I found one E8BZ11572A at a ford dealership in Montana and
they were a might bit proud of it, I believe I was told $253 , my old ford
stuff show $147 but nobody in this time zone has one.

Rock auto sold me a US216 but that was not even close.

I do not want to use salvage or used for an electrical part,
If it comes to that I will race switch it I guess. The genuine dune
    buggy package!

    so..?

Try spraying WD-40 or contact cleaner into the keyhole. Worked for me.

        Switch under dash+push button=WIN

OR wire it to a dash button like I'm about to do...either way.

I took the lower clam shell off so I can push in on the end of the switch where the wires
come out, that will work for a few more days probably while I find ?? to work with.

Least I can leave it with the keys in it LOL
