my speedo.has been.tampered with and doesnt work because of how someone routed it outside the housing. So i use my phone as a gps speedo and odometer.

To calculate milage I add up the gas put in the car over a two year period and subtract the end odometer reading from the beginning. That evens out over seasons and small amounts of fuel purchased. To save money I try to buy small amounts of fuel when the price is up and fill up when the price is down except in winter when it's better to keep the tank topped up to avoid condensation inside the fuel tank which can cause rust.
