  • NEED SPARK!

    OK, so on 1991L West replaced the ignition module in the distributor, we checked the fusible links, We have 12 volts at the coil, have 12 volts from the PCM to ignition module, Have ground to the ignition module...No continuity between ignition module and the coil, and there was none. Tried to bypass and still no spark! GRRRRR!!!!!

    HAVE NO CLUE....NO SPARK! HELP!

      You can save some money by getting ignition control modules tested before deciding to replace them. Some auto parts retailers will test them for free. www.ncf.ca/~ag384/Cars.htm has some information I wrote down when I had to replace the one on my Festiva.
      Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.
