    I think the connector is behind the headlight. Should be plug and play. I need to do one of mine.

      When I took off the front bumper I cut the wires only to find later that further back there is a connector. I could have just unplugged them.
      There are wiring diagrams for different years at the back of the Haynes manual. Maybe you could give the year and somone could look.

        As far as i know there should only be 2 wires per side going to the turn signal in the front bumper.

        Also it shouldn't make any difference (if there is only 2 wires going to each light) as to which it "hot" and which is ground. The 1156, single element bulb won't care and should light.

        OK. I just looked in my Haynes and according to it, the front turn signal(s) have a green/white wire for the left power and green/black for right side power and black wire for ground. This is for '93 and older.

        Also note that the lights shouldn't be grounded to the bumper as the socket mounts to the plastic bumper cover.

        I just thought of something.

        To the OP;

        You stated you have 3 wires, one of which is green/red?
        As luck would have it i just relocated my horn today. Guess what color the wire to the horn is? Yup, green/red.

        So given that you located the green/red wire you have located the one going to the horn. The other 2, by process of elimination should be for the turn signals.

        Hope this helps.

          Honk your horn and see if your light blinks.

              Went into a n. Ontario mining town (Timmins) on a Friday night with a real redneck 40+ years ago and that, more or less, was his sarcastic loud comment, through a taxi driver's window, while the impatient lout was leaning all over his horn at a slow driver in front of him. The caustic line was; "hey buddy, your horn works, now try the lights'. The guy inside went completely apes&*t and it was likely a good thing there were no guns or tire irons available and that he was blocking a lane once the light turned green.

                    The last time I was in Lynn, MA I ate the "kitchen sink" at an ice cream parlor. I forget the name of the place. Do you know if it's still there?

                        No sorry. But it was a lot bigger than any of the other ones I found online.
                        In Lynn, they actually dumped the entire contents of three ice cream containers into this gigantic bowl before throwing the bananas, syrup, whipping cream, etc. at it.

                            Yup, should be 2 per side and it don't matter which goes to which per side. The bulb isn't going to care.
