Carbies Suck!

I'm having an awful time removing the head on my '89. Part of it is my decision to remove the manifolds with the head. The exhaust has that extra pulse pipe and the nuts were rusted undersized and had to be ground off. My compressor has lost power so I had to use a combo of elec tools to do it. The carb has an insane amount of vac hoses. I got it off but some of the hoses were destroyed and not marked. I still have to remove the hoses from the manifold but they are hidden. I plan on putting a latex glove over the intake and exhaust while pressurizing the cylinder to see where the comp loss is. I might consider selling it. It's too complicated.

Change to an Escort or Weber carb and throw all the hoses away.
