  • 1997 Aspire Crankshaft Positioning Sensor location?

I just picked up at 97 Aspire and it's throwing a code for the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor. Where is it located? I've searched the forum and internet but couldn't find anything other than it used to be on the distributor then it was moved in the later years. I'd like to get it fixed because the engine has a bad miss to it at lower RPMs.

    Thanks!

That's too obvious, I think it's by the catalytic converter......

Thanks guys. I checked half way back the tail pipe but couldn't seem to find it lol. No, I haven't even crawled under it to look yet, it's been too cold to be crawling around on the ground here. I just wanted a general location so I'm not looking around aimlessly when I do get under it to take a look.

              Thanks again.
