Great info Mark! Thanks for stepping in. I have no sentimental attachment to this one. And I actually am limiting my potential replacement selection to the next gen Quest/Villager.

      Nissan quest

No matter what there will always be a great deal out there, and Paul you would be the guy to find it

As it was said already, you know the current issues you have to deal with, the next one could potentially have more wrong it and in that case you'll regret selling it

But on the other hand, if you find a killer deal on a lot lower mileage one, it might be worth going that route as well

I would say start looking for a great deal on one, if you can afford it on the spot that would best so you can jump on one when you see it, then decide which is the better one to keep and sell the other and hopefully come out on top

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

After over 7 months of hiding the elusive Zanzer breaks his silence by commenting on a thread about buying a mini-van! Welcome back!

Paul, buy a next gen, but only if its around 100k. Then drive it for 2 weeks and decide which one to keep, the new one or the old one. If its fairly low mileage I know you can flip it pretty easily for a profit anyway, so its "no harm no foul".
          No festiva for me ATM...

Sell it and buy something cherry. I'm willing to bet you can use your seemingly magical car buying power to get a sweet deal on a newer model with less than 100k. If you can find Festivas with under 100k, you can find a Quest.
Do it for the kids Paul.
