VAF Cleaning

Does the VAF on a Festiva require cleaning?? If so..at what intervals?? Any procedures available?? I'm cleaninng up the old goose and want to do the intake system. Suggestions???

I would just clean it up with a nice rag. You don't want any of those cleaners to get into the flap inside the vaf...I usually clean mines every 2-3years when I remove my k&n air filter. They are reliable peices and need cleaning once in a while since our motors love to suck oil into the air intake.
