Ok, so here is my delima. I have an 88 festiva L that has the 92 powertrain. it also has aftermarket ac so to say its cluttered is a total understatement. last summer it overheated and blew the deadgasket. I tore it down and the head was warped pretty bad. I had the head machined and replaced the head gasket, themostat, and waterpump while i was in it. The repair went really smooth except there were no alignment dals to hold the headgasket. Im 12k post repair and have devoloped a major oil leak (it will go through a gallon jug a week pulling 75 miles a day). it doesnt leak at idle, but if you clean everything off it looks to be coming from where the head and block mate. i know i need to tear back down and fix it right, but any ideas at a quick fix? anyone had a similar issue after a head instal? thanks

Have you checked the torque on the head bolts? Could there possibly be one or so of them loose?Jerry
