  • Engine fuse , no other leg?

So back tracking my high resistance issue for spark , and noticed that my engine fuse in the panel , on the back of it only has 1 wire that goes to it...

Im kind of confused as to why its like this , whats the point of running a wire to a 10A fuse with no other leg to the other end of the fuse? Maybe im just looking at it wrong but it doesnt look like it has another.

has anybody else noticed this or can clear up what im seeing? I will try to get a photo tomorrow if I need to

isn't the hot side of your fuse coming from the power bus? if so then all fuses on that bus will share the same power from the primary circuit. the only wire needed then is to the load or the switch. use a test light and see power on both sides of the fuse.

sorry I overlooked the sections , I didnt scroll far enough down.

xfs that would make sense just like how the stock fusible link uses 1 wire for 3 different fuses the way it does , I didnt think of that. Im self taught and learning as ive been going , dont always check things out fully so sometimes takes multiple investigations. I'll look at it tomorrow if i get a chance thank you.

Only hot wires need fuses. The metal on the car is the ground. So at lot of things use a fused hot to power it, and ground to the metal on the body.
