  • Left front turn signal....

Ordered a whole new front turn signal lamp, plugged it in and ....... still not working!! Dang it! Now I have to figure out why it is still not working!

I'm sure it's something the previous owner did! Probably cut wires or something since he cut the wire for the headlights and hooked that wire to the fog light switch, which I still have to fix..... *sigh*

    Any suggestions?

Start by tracing the wires. Betcha the solution is fairly simple once you find that corroded, broken or disconnected wire. Speaking of which, how is the ground on that fixture? The turn signal set up is suspended in a foam pad behind a rubber covering and not at all attached to any metal part of the car except by wires.

I did trace the 2 wires into a wiring harness, from the lamp, and lost them from there.

The turn signal lamp has 2 wires going in which I assume the one is a ground wire. both wires go in the wiring harness. still trying to find where they go from there.

I am still trying to figure this stupid turn signal problem. the left front doesn't work and all the other ones do. I have replaced the whole lamp unit and it still doen't work.
I'm replacing the turn signal, headlight, wiper switch and hopefully that will fix the problem. I'm replacing that because I know for sure the headlight switch doesn't work.
