Automatic transmission reinstall problem.

Alright guys I've just finished reinstalling my engine inside my festy. When I went to crank the motor I heard a bad grinding noise. I knew something is not right. Took out the fly wheel cover and the flywheel was rubbing very close to the oil pan. Lucky I didnt crank it long or else I would have made a critical damage. The car is a 1990 festiva with the auto transmission. Did I install the flywheel backwards?

For future reference, it is called a flex plate on autos and a flywheel on a manual.
