  • CUSTUM/ Aftermarket suspension. What's on your festiva?

I'm looking for a better ride on my festiva what you do to your suspension and what results did you get? I heard about one guy putting atv shocks on his.

When you say better ride do you mean a softer less bouncy ride or better handling?

I want it to be a smoother ride on my daily driver. But I have another festiva I'm working on putting a 4-6 inch lift in that will be for off roading

Not only do you want a smoother ride than an OEM Festy but you also might want to lift it another 1/2 foot?
For One), I think the suspension on the car you are complaining about is not stock. Two) A Festy shell is quite sturdy on it's own and deciding to bolt/weld one on to something else is about all that is left to you if lifting it that high is desirable . Festys are short and tall enough that installation on a Jeep frame might just work for you. Anything else involving Festy drivetrain and suspension (by my way of thinking) is out of the question.
Stock Festys that seem to want to want to 'float down the road' and 'corner on their doors' (and all of the OEM ones do) benefit greatly from Aspire/Rio spring and suspension swaps to stiffen them up.

You gotta understand I live in Minnesota. We are a bunch of brainless rednecks. The higher the better! And that's the only way I can get my atv tires on the car is by letting it. And I got in a fender bender so it's no longer road worth so I got nothing better to do with it
