  • Ford festiva automatic transmission flex plate vs ford aspire auto flex plate

Does anyone know if the flex plate from an aspire is the same as the one on a festiva? Ive damaged my flex plate while installation and can find a replacement. Just wondering if both are compatible.

well..., they both have the same engine (stock) and they both run the same transmissions (stock), so i'd say, yeah, they're compatible.

They don't appear to be. The bolt holes on the Aspire flex plate seem to be a little close together than the Festiva one.
I couldn't get them to line up when I put an Aspire engine in a Festiva using a Festiva torque converter.

It doesn't surprise me,there are quite a few subtle differences between the two cars..........

It must be the differences at the other end of the big nose and little nose cranks
