  • [Not Fesitva] What is this called?

Yes, I'm posting another "what is this called" thread.

This time it is about my 1986? Volkswagen Scirocco. It's one of my race cars, and the racing season starts in a mere few days! We are having an issue, and have found that we are not getting fuel to the engine. Through process of elimination we think we have found the part, but we don't know the name of it.

I took a picture of it on my phone but of course, while trying to upload it my phone blacked it out or something and it doesn't work. I think I have found a picture on Google that shows the same thing. At least it looks the same...

Does anybody know what the name of this part is?

Found another picture that is perfect:

    Thanks!

that's your injection distrobution block... it kinda works like a festy VAF only mechanicaly, and you can tune it!!!!

you mention that you have a lack of fuel issue: you know that you have 2 fuel pumps for that engine.... intank is a lift pump and there's a pressure pump under the LR passenger position... make sure that lift pump isn't clogged and that the pressure pump is near 60psi when running

      Thank you!!!

I will check the things you bring up.

We went from farthest back we could and started loosening bolts to where fuel should come from, and it stopped right after this sucker. That is why we think it is this. I will check everything again.

      Thanks again for your help!
