auto trans shifting late

On my 92 auto the trans won't snift to 2nd till ~35mph and 3rd till ~57mph, do I need yet another trans?

Vacuum modulator. Firstly, make sure the vacuum line is hooked to the intake.

*facepalm* yep, didn't get plugged back in.

Also there seems to be 2 gears missing, and a clutch.

Glad it was an easy fix. Was the engine stumbling at idle though? There's a pretty big leak without the vac. mod. line hooked up.

It stumbled on startup but seemed to idle fine.
